Milestone Occupational Therapy is Amanda Chestnut, MS, OTR/L, BCP.
Amanda has spent her 17 year career as a pediatric Occupational Therapist with a specialty in feeding and rehabilitation in the acute medical setting and in private practice. She is passionate about supporting families and their children in feeding and developmental milestones.
Amanda’s experience and expertise include the following:
Presenting for national audiences at the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine and on multiple occasions locally at Childrens Hospital Colorado.
One of twenty practitioners in the state of Colorado to receive her Board Certification in Pediatrics (BCP) from the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).
Advanced training and expertise in infant feeding, including dysphagia (swallow dysfunction) management.
Advanced training and expertise in child development and treating mild to severe developmental delays.
Advanced training and expertise in working with infants and children with acquired neurologic injuries (brain injury, spinal cord injury, stroke).
